2013 GOTYA Vic/Tas

The Design Institute of Australia’s Victoria/Tasmania Graduate of the Year Awards (GOTYA) for 2013 were presented on 20 March at the INLITE showroom in Melbourne. Now in its sixth year, this year’s awards attracted entries from nine participating tertiary institutions across Victoria and Tasmania who nominated their top graduate talent from 2013.

From the eight categories ranging from industrial design to fashion and textiles, interior design graduate Anna Pogorelova of Swinbourne University of Technology was awarded the Overall Graduate of the Year for 2013. Each Category GOTYA recipient will be automatically entered into the DIA Australasian Graduate of the Year Awards, to be announced in Sydney at DesignEx in May 2014.
