Australian projects shortlisted for 2016 Inside Awards

The shortlist for the 2016 Inside World Festival of Interiors Awards has been announced, with 63 projects from around the world making the grade across nine categories.

This year, the most populous category for Australian designers was Offices, in which six of the 16 workplaces shortlisted were by local practitioners.

Designers of the shortlisted projects will be invited to present to the panel of jurors in Berlin during the Inside World Festival of Interiors, 16-18 November 2016.

The jury this year includes Australian architects Robert Backhouse (Hassell) and Nik Karalis (Woods Bagot).

A winner will be selected from each category and the 2016 World Interior of the Year will be crowned from among the category winners.
