Exhibit Interiors adds two quite different new collections to its contemporary furniture range: The Messina collection of occasional tables revisits Modernist design in fine steel, marble and glass, while Enzo timber storage and seating options bring a contemporary warmth.
Messina comprises three series of coffee and side tables: the Saba coffee table has a fine steel frame and polished glass top for a classic look; Flore has a more casual feel with its softly arched steel frame and marble tops, while Spoke (as the name suggests) takes inspiration from bicycle wheels with straight lined structural steel converging at a cinched waist. Both Flore and Spoke are finished with non-porous reconstituted marble tops.
The soft-lined Enzo collection is made from eco-friendly plywood and rubber wood. The Curva TV unit is made with moulded plywood and ash veneer, as are the stackable dining chairs. Lars Stools have rubber wood legs and walnut or ash veneer tops, and an optional padded seat for extra comfort. The Runda Buffet rounds out the collection with its curved front and corners.
Both collecitons are available online from Exhibit Interiors, or in store in Melbourne and Sydney including the new Surry Hills store, opening August 2014.
