Hunt on for the ACA’s first CEO

The Association of Consulting Architects, the peak body for architectural employers in Australia, is seeking its first-ever Chief Executive Officer.

The incoming CEO will work on a part-time basis to oversee the ACA’s management, implement strategy and support and grow the organization’s membership.

Founded in 1987, the ACA “helps architectural firms navigate the changing world of practice by providing regular advice and information on business and employment matters, by promoting awareness of and discussion about business issues, and by advocating for better business practices and legislative frameworks.” It maintains branches in all states and territories.

The CEO will report to the ACA’s national president, currently architect Kieran Wong, and the National Executive Committee. The role will be based in Melbourne.

The search comes as the Australian Institute of Architects put out a call for its own CEO in October.

Applications for the ACA CEO role are due by 26 November. For more information, go here.
