Institute’s Qld chapter announces new fellows and prizes

The Australian Institute of Architects Queensland Chapter honoured a raft of its member who received fellowships and prizes at the 2016 President’s Dinner.

The chapter announced six life fellows, 14 fellows and an honourary fellowship was awarded to Catherin Bull, professor emeritus of landscape architecture at the University of Melbourne and adjunct professor at Queensland University of Technology.

The chapter also awarded three members with the Board of Architects’ Prize, three members received the QIA Medallion and three President’s Prizes were awarded. The Emerging Architect Prize was awarded to Aaron Peters of Vokes and Peters. Full list of honours below.

The President’s Dinner coincided with a changing of the guard for the Queensland chapter. Immediate past-president Richard Kirk handed over to new president Bruce Wolfe, who will take the reins for the next two years.
