Kevin McCloud to open Grand Designs Australia Live in October

Kevin McCloud, host of the hugely popular UK television show Grand Designs, will open the inaugural Grand Designs Australia Live with Australian host Peter Maddison at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre on 21 October.

Grand Designs Australia Live is an official extension of the hugely successful international television show that follows the progress of self-builders in pursuit of architectural brilliance. At the three-day show, visitors will discover design ideas and quality renovation and home improvement solutions. 

Some of the highlights of the show include Philips House of the Future, Whitehouse Rooms by Design (sponsored by Dulux) and Designer Eco Village by SBS Residential. The Miele Grand Kitchen will host some of Australia’s top chefs and there will be numerous opportunities for design discussions and advice.
