Nendo’s shape-shifting Architect Bag

Japanese design studio Nendo has conceived of an adaptable leather bag for architects, commissioned by Italian leather brand Tod’s.

The bag has three configurations. Its full size is a large tote capable of holding A3 drawings. The middle section allows the bag to fold in half, turning it into a smaller satchel with two spaces for A4 drawings and documents. The crevice created by folding the bag becomes a space for rolled up drawings, heavy catalogues, books and material samples.

Nendo's Architect Bag for Tod has three configurations: a tote, a satchel and a clutch.

The bag has two handles, each can be hidden away, which transforms the satchel into a clutch bag.

The bag also has separate front pockets and features Tod’s customary stripe motif.

The Architect Bag is available in a variety of colours from Tod’s.
