Planex reveals its new locker collection

Planex is launching xLocker 2, its new version of the highly customizable locker system that comes with features such as portable device powering for laptops and phones.

Each locker can be made to order, with 150 colours and a range of finishes available. The ability to individually customize each unit is inspired by the changing nature of modern workplaces that move away from traditional, structured spaces. The addition of powering options for portable devices allows the lockers to meet people’s technological requirements.

Planex CEO Jean-Pierre Jardel emphasized the capability of the new design to respond to a variety of needs in workplaces.

“A cyclist commuter needs somewhere to put their helmet, a CEO needs somewhere to put a spare suit or after work outfit, and a part-timer needs space to put personal items while somoene else uses their desk on days off,” he said.

The xLocker 2 can be reused, expanded, reconfigured and repurposed, which makes it a flexible and sustainable alternative to traditional joinery options.

Planex products are all designed and manufactured in Melbourne.
