Plank light

Plank by Swedish designers Frida Ottemo Fröberg and Marie-Louise Gustafsson for Northern Lighting is a strip of dimmable LED lights placed between two planks of raw, rough-cut, unpolished timber – light poplar or dark Kebony southern yellow pine – that bear the scars of the manufacturing process. Inspired by the humble delivery pallet, Plank is available in pendant, wall-mounted and floor lamp versions, and provides direct task lighting suitable for a desk or work surface. The versatile light can be fixed to a wall in a pattern, stacked on the floor or or hung in formation, and to add colour, simply paint the timber. Available in Australia through LightCo.
