SA Emerging Designer Award: food & wine

Entries are now open in the JamFactory’s 2012 Emerging Designer Award with a focus on food and wine. Product designers and students (of a South Australian design program in the past five years) are invited to submit their ideas for products that enhance the presentation or preparation of food or wine.
Ten submitted products will be shortlisted for an exhibition to be held 27 October–8 December at the JamFactory’s GalleryTwo. Finalists will be announced on 8 October and the winner announced at the exhibition opening on 26 October.
The award will be judged by representatives from JamFactory, the University of South Australia and an interstate independent designer. The winner receives $2,000.
