The Sydney Architecture Festival is calling for expressions of interest from individuals or creative collectives for inspiring events to join the 2013 program.

This annual festival takes architecture to the streets and people of Sydney with its workshops, exhibitions, talks, tours and more, designed to educate and engage people around urban issues in the built environment.

This year’s SAF theme is Your Community – Your City. The organizers, the Institute of Architects NSW Chapter and the NSW Architects Registration Board, want to hear from you about installations, film, panel discussions, debates, guided tours, walks and children’s workshops.

Submissions need to imaginatively engage the public with architecture, and the SAF organizers are looking for dynamic interactions, spatial installations, architectural reoccupations of city spaces that challenge and drive dialogue.

Successful applicants will be responsible for developing and delivering their event submission. SAF doesn’t offer sponsorship or funding support, although they can offer venue support in some instances. So the offer is not just to creators, but for hands-on event deliverers to participate during the festival.

Submission close on 30 April 2013 If you’re interested download your EOI form, or see the Sydney Architecture Festival website for more details.
