Wästberg’s new LED pendant lighting collection

Wästberg’s new LED pendant lighting collection is now available from Euroluce.

Launched at the 2012 Stockholm Furniture and Light Fair, the collection was developed in accordance with the company manifesto “Lamps for Neanderthal Man,” in collaboration with Inga Sempé, Ilse Crawford, Jonas Lindvall and Antoine Laverdière.

Included in the collection is the Lindvall Pendant w124s, which is an archetypical lamp inspired by the oil lamp, kerosene lamp, candle sticks and the lamps of Jonas Lindvall’s childhood. The simple light fixture is designed to direct the light downwards and to create ambiance in a room.

The Sempé w103s1, 2 and 3, designed by Inga Sempé, are a fun plug-and-play pendant system. The shades can be attached to a straight slim-line rail in combinations of ones, twos or threes, to create various shapes. The system has a visual lightness and the range can be mixed and matched.

Also in the collection is Ilse Crawford’s Studioilse w084s, which has a familiar aesthetic and a sophisticated touch in its design and nature. The shade is suspended by a cloth flex, in either red or brown, and uses an LED light source.
