2016 World Architecture Festival

The 2016 World Architecture Festival will see the architecture community come together in Berlin, Germany from 16 to 18 November.

Projects from all over the world will compete across nine categories and will be critiqued and judged live by an international panel. The judges this year include Australian architects Richard Francis-Jones (FJMT), Michael Heenan (Allen Jack + Cottier), Ronald Hicks (HDR Rice Daubney), Martyn Hook (Iredale Pedersen Hook), David Leece (Billar Leece Partnership) and editorial director of Architecture Media, Cameron Bruhn.

The festival also features a seminar program, a finalist gallery where shortlisted projects can be viewed, student charrette, Berlin architecture tours, and the closing gala on the final evening of the festival.

WAF’s sister festival Inside – World Festival of Interiors will be held at the same time and place as WAF.

Architecture Australia is a media partner of the World Architecture Festival.
