The architecture world gathers for three days at the global symposium/awards festival held at Marina Bays Sands in Singapore 1–3 October.

Projects from around the world compete at World Architecture Festival (WAF) in twenty-nine categories with an international panel of judges, including Sir Richard Rogers, Rocco Yim (Rocco Design Architects, Hong Kong), Julie Eizenberg (Koning Eizenberg Architecture, Los Angeles), Enric Ruiz Geli (Cloud9 Architecture Studio, Barcelona) and Peter Rich (Peter Rich Architects, Johannesburg) and Australia’s Richard Francis-Jones.

The 2014 WAF conference theme is ‘Architects and the City’, with keynote speakers from the judging panel. Co-located with WAF is the INSIDE World Festival of Interiors, with similarly high-profile judges for its awards program.
