The Robin Boyd Foundation’s last open day for 2012 (Sunday 2 December) is all about courtyard houses. Some of the early and mid-20th century gems scheduled to open their doors include: Salter House by Walter Burley Griffin (1928) Toorak; Hill Street House by Roy Grounds (1953) Toorak; Walsh Street by Robin Boyd (1958) South Yarra; Fenner House by Neil Clerehan (1964) South Yarra; and Ridge House by Graeme Gunn and Merchant Builders (1967) Toorak.
As a prelude to the tour, two design discussions will be held during the week at Walsh Street courtyard.
