Design and build your dream house

The Design Workshop, an initiative of the Built Environment Education (BEE) program of the Australian Institute of Architects, is holding a school holiday design workshop for children aged 9–12.

The workshop provides a “hands-on” activity-based program to encourage children to become more aware of their built environment and the design concepts related to it. Activities involve developing client briefs, site surveys, architectural drawings and model making.

This two day event runs 9 am until 5 pm each day and costs $130. Places are limited and registration is required by Wednesday 4 July. For more information and to download the registration form visit the Australian Institute of Architects website.
