The giant inflatable labyrinth, EXXOPOLIS will be on the Sydney Opera House forecourt from 3-27 January as part of the Sydney Festival. Its creators, Architects of Air Luminaria, present EXXOPOLIS as a salute to their first inflatable sculpture EGGOPOLIS, that toured the UK in 1992, launching their foray into making these festival follies. The tunnels and domes are awash with kaleidoscopic coloured lights, altering (or distorting) the experience of these liquid spaces that span fifty-three metres in length by nearly nine metres in height (almost the entirety of the Opera House Forecourt). Luminaria brought Mirazozo to the Sydney Opera House forecourt in 2010.
