Open House Melbourne (26–27 July 2014) is an opportunity to go behind closed doors, or take a special tour inside some of the city’s iconic and award-winning buildings, both contemporary and historic. Having started in 2008 with just eight buildings and 30,000 visitors, the annual event has blossomed to include over 100 buildings and attract more than 125,000 visitors in 2013.

In 2014 Open House Melbourne welcomes its new CEO, Fred Tinsley, and new event manager, Eleni Kaponis. There are also new additions to the program including film screenings, talks and tours and two significant new partnership events:

• Nite Art – installation of site-specific artworks in iconic Melbourne spaces, and
• Residential architecture tour of projects from Stuart Harrison’s New Suburban (Thames and Hudson).
