Marrickville Council Library & History Services present an architecture talk on Medium Density Housing at the Herb Greedy Hall on Wednesday, 3 September.
Describing residential developments that are at higher densities than suburban subdivisions, medium density housing may include detached, semi-attached, and attached (or multi-unit) housing. The talk focuses on strategies to improve medium density housing, and how this can enhance the amenity of our neighbourhoods.
Guest speakers Michael Lewarne and Angelo Korsanos (Redshift Architecture & Art) discuss their projects, the Nelson Street Terraces and Cobar Street Apartments; and Angelo Candalepas (Candalepas Associates) will talk about their projects, Lamia Apartments and Revolution Apartments.
This is a free event but bookings are required.
