Beach house architecture with Peter McIntyre

Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery will host architect Peter McIntyre on 27 May where he will speak about the houses he has designed throughout his career, including the River House on the banks of the Yarra River in Melbourne’s Kew that he designed for his wife and himself. McIntyre founded his practice in 1950 after studying under Robyn Boyd.

In addition to his residential work, prominent projects of McIntyre’s include the Olympic Swimming Pool, Jam Factory complex and Parliament station in Melbourne.

Tickets are $15 for members of the gallery and $18 for the general public. Afternoon tea is included. To book, go here.
