Post flood seminar
The seminar program, targeting planners and others involved in building community resilience, is the current focus of the Post Disaster Planning Project, funded through the Commonwealth Attorney General’s department.
Being held in regional areas that have been affected by flooding, the seminars are primarily aimed at providing professional development for planners in regional areas and to include mayors, councillors and other related industry professionals to encourage the development of a broader understanding of flooding and flood events in affected communities.
Held from 9.15 am to 4.00 pm, the seminar costs Planning Institute of Australia members $220 and non-members $280. For further information and to register visit the PIA website.
