Sustainable House Day - Free Public Lecture
A free public lecture that will question assumptions about sustainable design and where do we go from here.
Jon Sibley, Manager of Climate Change, Energy and Sustainability Policy for the ACT Government, will talk about ACT Government programs and context.
Kevin Miller, director of Collard Clarke Jackson, Canberra, has been working in the area of environmental design for nearly twenty years and will discuss why you can’t build your way out of climate change.
Each of the architects from the Sustainable House Open Day will also be presenting for five minutes at the lecture.
The event starts runs 6 pm – 8 pm. For more information and to register your interest visit the Australian Institute of Architects website.
