Dianna Wells

Dianna Wells is a Melbourne-based photographic artist exploring themes related to the intersection of the natural landscape and human intervention, primarily on Melbourne’s urban edge. The work is informed by researching the current role of government, developers and environmental groups in shaping these liminal zones. Wells studied at the Canberra School of Art and worked as a printmaker then a graphic designer, and co-founded Another Planet Posters in Melbourne in the 1980s. After a career in design, Wells completed a Masters by Research in photomedia at Monash University in 2013, supervised by Professor Claudia Terstappen.
