Urban Growth NSW

UrbanGrowth NSW was established to address the barriers to private sector investment in development projects in NSW. The organisation will drive investment in NSW and help underpin the future prosperity of urban and regional centres.

UrbanGrowth NSW will focus on urban renewal projects that will provide greater housing choice and affordability. It will unlock private land holdings and access surplus Government land for development opportunities for the private sector as well as assist in the delivery of important infrastructure.

UrbanGrowth NSW is the new trading name for Landcom. The Sydney Metropolitan Development Authority (SMDA) has become UrbanGrowth NSW Development Corporation. Both entities commenced operating on 1 January 2013.

Location: Sydney,  NSW,  Australia
