Westfield Design and Construction works with the Westfield development arm to bring Westfield shopping centres to life. This division collaboratively designs centres and stores to create award-winning retail experiences. The design team is responsible for designing and documenting all future development projects for Westfield, as well as the redevelopments that are constantly taking place. The construction division builds the centres that the design team has documented. Construction has a broad scope of work that includes cost estimation, execution of the construction works, project programming and opening the shops. Construction is also partially responsible for maintaining existing assets and providing ongoing support to centre management.
