The Kebony range of timbers offers the aesthetic impact and performance of hardwood, with the environmental credentials of an FSC certified softwood.

Developed in Norway, the Kebony technology is an environmentally friendly, patented process, which enhances the properties of sustainable softwood with a bio-based liquid. The process permanently modifies the wood cell walls giving Kebony timber hardwood characteristics and a rich brown colour.

Suitable for interior and exterior applications that demand high performance and good looks, Kebony is available in clear and character grade. After exposure to sun and rain, the wood develops a natural silver-gray patina.

Kebony is available in Australia through Mafi and New Zealand through JSC Timber.
