Blanco Subline

German innovator of stainless steel Blanco launches new range of sinks featuring patented Silgranit PuraDur II technology.

The advanced composite material is made from eighty percent granite. Strong, tough and durable, the material is resistant to scratching, heat and acid wear.

Subline steel-framed sinks made with the Silgranit are also treated with an anti-bacterial finish which, according to independent testing, reduces bacterial growth by ninety-eight percent. This built-in hygiene protection reduces the need for abrasive or harsh chemical cleaning agents.

As well as the advanced technology in the material, it also gives the sinks a stony, silky appearance which combined with the straight lined design, in anthracite and white, makes an eye-catching, architectural statement.

“The introduction of Silgranit PuraDur II sinks and taps has proven that the sink is far more than a mere functional element in the kitchen” states Maver Sims, General Manager of Blanco Australia. “It has now become an architectural element that provides unparalleled quality and sophisticated elegance.”

Blanco Subline sink using Silgranit PuraDur II technology was awarded a Good Design Selection at 2014 Good Design Awards.
