Bruce Rowe introduces new sculptures in boxed sets

Architect and ceramicist Bruce Rowe has created a series of ceramic sculpture forms presented in a limited collection of 100 boxed sets.

The geometric forms an each be arranged and rearranged in their boxes, creating “an ever expanding field of imagination.”

The sculpture collection titled Scape - Series 1 “is generated from a focused and intuitive sculpting process,” said Rowe. “The resulting object and its coloured surface keenly observes the tactility, tones and materiality of the earth. Burnt oranges, campfire blacks, bush greens, smoke whites and rust are all evoked in the colour palette.”
The pieces are made using a diverse range of Australian clays and finished in specially created glazes, making each set is unique and cannot be reproduced and repeated.

All the pieces are individually boxed, numbered and signed by Bruce Rowe.

Scape – Series 1 is available from exclusively from Hub Furniture and NGV Design Store from 15 December 2017.
