Austech’s Duratuff Select vinyl cladding was specified for a new home on the NSW Central Coast. The project was a finalist in the New Residential Building under 2000 sq m, and in the Residential Sustainable Building categories in the BDA 2014 National Building Design Awards.
Harris Building Design Services designed and project managed the construction. From the range of profiles, Double Chamfer was chosen. From the Duratuff range of nine standard colours, the home owner selected Soft Maple. Additionally, the option of 30 mm insulation on the rear of the cladding was specified. Duratuff Select vinyl cladding is a low maintenance product, with good thermal properties, and carries a 50 year warranty.
