CSR Cemintel’s BareStone used as bathroom walls

BareStone, an external cladding product from CSR Cemintel, was used as an interior bathroom wall in the Clifton House on the south coast of New South Wales.

Lead architect Steven Isaacs, of Architecture Saville Isaacs, is known for pushing the boundaries. He likes to try new products and experiment with new techniques. Isaacs agreed with the client that the house needed raw, high quality building materials. The honest finish of the BareStone fitted the criteria and blended with the glass, raw timber and render used in the rest of the project.

CSR Cemintel BareStone is a pre-finished panel that provides an extremely weather tight, highly durable, low maintenance cladding system. BareStone panels are 9 mm thick, compressed, autoclaved, cellulose fibre reinforced cement sheets, purpose-made for use on building facades. The BareStone panels are a square edge sheet with a smooth flat surface and a raw cement look that doesn’t have to be painted.
