DIA appoints new CEO

The Design Institute of Australia (DIA) has appointed Pru Sanderson as its new chief executive officer (CEO).

Sanderson is past CEO of VicUrban and Monash Property Management and has held senior roles with GHD, Federation Square Management, City of Melbourne and the Melbourne Museum.

Currently director of Parks Victoria, an associate of Melbourne Sustainable Society Institute and Fellow of the Institute of Public Administration Australia, Sanderson will join the DIA on 29 September 2014.

Sanderson will assume the reins of the Institute from General Manager Phillippa Rowland, who will step aside from her role at the end of the year.
