The String lamp by Italian architects Dante Donegani and Giovanni Lauda, from D & L studio in Italy, highlights the trend towards simplicity in modern architecture. Donegani and Lauda designed the lamp for Italian manufacturer Rotaliana’s collection Enlightenments.
Designed to be flexible and stylish, the LED String lamp has two arms joined by a thin metal section that bends and rotates in all directions to create adjustable and dynamic lighting. The two arms are made from a double-T section of extruded aluminium.
The lamps provide luminous brightness and energy efficiency, with only a 7.2-watt consumption.
The String lamp is available from Studio Italia.
