Dulux and Palette launch Snapshot colour tool

Dulux Australia and Melbourne-based startup Palette have launched Dulux Snapshot, a new colour tool that allows users to match any surface with a colour from Dulux’s range.

The technology detects the colour of any surface in the users surroundings, allowing interior designers and specificers to convert any colour into their projects, including existing paint shades.

The portable tool pairs with any iOS or Android device, with a corresponding app which allows users to save colour matches, organize colours into project groups, and rename colours for personal recognition.

Users can also share their Dulux Snapshot colour selections using email or social media platforms.

Dulux marketing and innovation director Helen Fitzpatrick said Dulux Snapshot would bring a new level of accuracy and intelligence for industry members to make imaginative use of colour in reality.

Dulux Snapshot is available now from Dulux trade centres, Inspirations paint stores and online.
