Ecosoft helps T2 create new sustainable HQ

For Australian tea merchant T2’s new corporate office space, the company chose Ecosoft carpet tiles in an effort to reduce its environmental footprint.

Ecosoft carpet tiles are made from recycled PET plastic bottles. The carpet tiles installed at T2’s new headquarters diverted 43,500 PET bottles from landfill and the ocean. Ecosoft won a Sustainability Award in 2019 for waste elimination.

“One of our main goals with our office relocation was to focus on sustainability in all aspects of the build. Sourcing sustainable materials was considered at every design decision, and Ecosoft’s solution ticked all our boxes,” said Jan-Phillip Smith, T2 Facilities Manager.

Ecosoft is available in a range of designs. They are soft underfoot, thermally efficient and have high acoustic performance which dramatically reduces in noise.
