Smeg has previewed its new product, the FAB28 refrigerator, at the 2012 Milan Furniture Fair.
Smeg and Italia Independent have come together to create the denim-covered refrigerator. It feels like fabric, it looks like denim and has yellow stitching, just like regular jeans. The surface is treated to protect it from splashes and stains. The FAB28 denim refrigerator, which comes in a limited-edition run of five hundred, can be seen both at the Fair and the Smeg showroom at Corso Monforte 30 in Milan.
The refrigerator will be available in September.
