Fisher & Paykel: kitchen cleverness

Fisher & Paykel unveils a suite of new kitchen appliances for indoors and out.

Released in August 2012, the suite includes two new compact fridges (790 mm wide) with big-fridge features. The 790 mm French Door has two narrow doors taking up half the space of single-door fridges when open and has a water and ice-making option. Interiors have improved LED lighting, bottle racking, and concealed hinging. The 790 mm Door Drawer is also a hybrid with a single fridge door above and a freezer drawer below. Both come with Fisher & Paykel’s EZKleen Stainless Steel finish and ActiveSmart™ thermostatic technology.

Two 900 mmm freestanding cookers – one with a high-speed induction cooktop, the other with gas – are also released, while the Companion Range offers matching integrated convection oven, steam oven, espresso maker and microwave, designed as a sleek bank of four, or used individually.

Also in the August product release were two new washing machines and a heavy-duty stainless steel outdoor grill that’s bigger than a barbecue and twice as tough, according to Fisher & Paykel. See their website for details and stockists.
