International timber flooring specialists Havwoods have opened a new showroom in Melbourne that aims to “deliver a space that makes the specifying and product selection process simple, enjoyable and comfortable.”

The interior of the showroom, in West Melbourne, features rich materials, including brass and black steel, which were selected to complement and offset the timber collections.

Visitors engage with the products through a novel table-top display, which Havwoods said reflected “a key decision to take timber off the vertical and onto the horizontal, the orientation in which it is viewed most in reality.

“This allows you to engage with the product at table height delivering a closer, more tangible experience.”

The space also features workshop and lounge spaces where they company’s products can be reviewed. Each space is fitted with generously sized tables, comfortable chairs, power points and free Wi-Fi.

The Havwoods Melbourne Showroom is open Monday to Friday from 8.30 am to 5 pm and can be found at 215 Roden St, West Melbourne.
