Herman Miller introduces Mattiazzi

The complete line of Mattiazzi products – including those designed by Studio Nitzan Cohen, Sam Hecht of Industrial Facility, and the Bouroullec brothers – is now available from Herman Miller.

Mattiazzi, a contemporary furniture manufacturer in Italy, was founded by brothers Nevio and Fabiano Mattiazzi in 1978. While many producers in that region rely on third-party factories and work in diverse materials, Mattiazzi operates with their own machines and hands, and works with wood. By using CNC tools, Mattiazzi has perfected the art of getting wood to take the complex shapes associated with injection-moulded plastic.

Herman Miller has always had a strong focus on the environment and ensures its partners have a similar focus. Mattiazzi factories are powered by solar energy, and the wood it uses is chemical-free and sourced locally. In 2009, the Mattiazzi brothers introduced their first complete range with the He Said/She Said chair designed by Studio Nitzan Cohen. Family-owned and -operated, Mattiazzi strives to find the balance between beauty and comfort.

The Mattiazzi collection includes He Said/She Said, Branca and Osso.
