McBride Charles Ryan documentary complete

Production on a new documentary about Melbourne architectural firm McBride Charles Ryan has just wrapped. The film, Life Architecturally, is the work of writer/director Britt Arthur, whose most recent documentary My Uncle Bluey has garnered numerous accolades, including an international premiere at the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam (IDFA) and Best Direction in a Short Film at the Australian Directors Guild Awards.

Life Architecturally follows acclaimed husband-and-wife team Robert McBride and Debbie Ryan to discover what inspires their groundbreaking concepts, designs and architecture. The documentary is set to screen on ABC TV early next year, and there has also been international interest in broadcasting the film. A DVD will be available soon after broadcast.
