Nafir lights

Designed by New York-based industrial and interior designer Karim Rashid, the Nafir pendant suggests light as a complement to sound, taking its name and shape and from a North African trumpet – a tribute to Rashid’s North African origins.

The acrylic pendants are designed as singles or in clusters of three with some colour options: chrome exterior/white interior, white exterior/gold interior and white exterior and interior. The LED lights deliver a strong, focused spot with minimal diffusion.

Individual pendants are 200 mm wide; clusters of three are 500 mm wide; suspension height is 1800 mm.

Available from March 2013 at Mondo Luce and Studio Italia.
