The ACT Chapter of the Australian Institute of Architects has announced Tony Trobe as its new president elect.

Tony Trobe is the director of TT Architecture and has been involved with the ACT Chapter through its Public Affairs Committee, Small Practice Group, Practice Committee, and Council.

Started by Trobe in 1990, TT Architecture is a Canberra-based architectural design studio that promotes environmental and sustainable design principles. The studio specializes in high-quality homes and has received more than one hundred industry awards over the past twenty years.

Trobe also speaks at CPD events and supports young graduates who are seeking registration in his role as a Practice of Architecture Learning Series (PALS) tutor.

Over the next few months he will share the president role with the outgoing president Sheila Hughes.
