Strike a pose: Shoot the Architect

Winners of the 2014 Shoot the Architect photographic competition were announced on Friday 28 November. Initiated by the Queensland Chapter of the Australian Institute of Architects, the portrait prize for photographers of all skill levels capturing Queensland-based architects.

The top prize was awarded to architectural photographer Scott Burrows for his portrait of architect Shaun Lockyer titled The Grass is Always Greener. Following an exhibition at the Queensland Chapter auditorium, the People’s Choice winner was Harrison Saragossi’s portrait of architect Graham Bligh.

Judging the entries in 2014 were: Ann Rainbow (Brisbane Open House), Richard Kirk (president of Queensland Chapter) and Ashley Roach (Fullframe Photographics).
