Solar-powered CCTV systems

Renewable energy infrastructure company Valen Energy is now offering an off-grid, solar-powered solution for security systems, including CCTV-camera installations.

Available in a specially prefabricated configuration to suit a variety of camera manufacturers and communication systems, the solution features solar photovoltaic poles which have already been widely used for street lighting across Australia.

The poles’ solar panels are constructed from a shatter-proof, glass-less material and they can be bolted to the ground with no need for concrete.

Thers is also no need to run underground cabling or install additional infrastructure of any kind.

The system uses lithium iron phosphate battery technology and is as equally relaible as AC grid-powered systems.

Wifi and 3 and 4 G connectivity can be be built into the system.
