By French designer Christophe Pillet, the collection of handmade recycled aluminium chairs, stools and swivel chairs are a fusion of comfort and durability. The chairs are designed to tempt you into curling up in them rather than to look impressive. They have a timeless, raw industrial strength mixed with sensual sophistication.
Christophe Pillet is known for work that meditates on notions of time and the aesthetic and illustrative memory. He is facinated by people’s emotional connection to objects and views furniture design as a type of storytelling. Pillet has gained global recognition for his work designing hotels and boutiques and art directing in the USA, Great Britain and Japan.
The Sezz collection is manufactured at the Emeco factory in Pennsylvania, USA.
