The Stratos chair.
The rave reviews that surrounded the launch of the Stratos chair collection from Italian furniture design company Maxdesign at the Milan Furniture Fair 2011 are having a ripple effect following the recent introduction of the product by Chairbiz in Australia.
Designed by Swiss designer Hannes Wettstein, Stratos alludes to a folded sheet of paper. A line running down the middle of the chair creates intriguing visual plays with light and shade. Made from recyclable, mass coloured polypropylene, the chair is available in eleven colours, has a beautiful, organic shape and is very comfortable to sit on.
