La Scala stool by Ute Design

The stackable La Scala stool by Kain Lucas is the latest offering from his Melbourne studio, Ute Design. La Scala is a sculptural piece with scalloped fretwork forming an integrated footrest. Designed for both commercial and residential applications, La Scala is available in two heights – 760 mm or 450 mm – making it suitable for use at tables or bar counters.

Ute Design will launch La Scala at Design Made Trade in Melbourne, 19–22 July 2012.
