Sydney Open 2015

On the first Sunday in November, Sydney Living Museums will unlocks the doors to 50 of the Sydney’s most historic and architectural inspiring buildings.

New to this year’s program is will be two new buildings at the UTS in Ultimo – the Dr Chau Chak Wing building designed by Frank Gehry and Science and Health building designed by Durbach Block Jaggers and BVN.

In nearby Chippendale, visitors will have a chance to discover Tonkin Zulaikha Greer Architects’ adaptive conversion of the Clare Hotel and former Carlton & United Breweries administration building.

Favourites of past Sydney Opens will also be part of the program including Australia Square, AMP Building, 50 Martin Place - recently upgraded by JPW, 8 Chifley by Lippmann Partnership and Rogers Stirk Harbour and Partners, MLC Centre by Harry Seidler, Reserve Bank of Australia and Sydney Opera House.
