As part of the GA200+ series of events, the Office of the Government Architect (GANSW) will present an informal session outlining its priorities and key projects for 2016/17.

It has been 10 months since the Office of the Government Architect, led by Peter Poulet, joined the Department of Planning.

The session will include:

  • Meeting the GANSW team
  • Presentation of the recently released draft policy Better Placed – A Design Led approach: developing an Architectural and Design Policy for NSW
  • Overview of the GANSW initiative Design Competition Missing Middle Housing
  • Outline of the suite of design excellence tools being developed, aimed at achieving better built environment outcomes and at communicating the measureable benefits of good design
