Architect Matthew Blain from Hassell and representatives from Bates Smart will give a talk in the recently completed fit-out of Hassell’s Sydney studio on Tuesday 29 July.
Each speaker will present their respective work spaces and discuss how their designs represent the visions of two of Australia’s leading architecture firms, how this reflects the company’s style, and how they retain visual approachability with their traditional client base.
Moderated by Bronwyn Litera and Adam Higginbotham, the discussion will introduce the conceptual and practical issues that drove the design outcome, and discuss the changing spaces that architects and designers work in.
The talk is curated by Intangible from Allen Jack + Cottier for the Tuesdays@Tusculum series and is free for members of Australian Institute of Architects and non-members. Register here. CPD points apply.
