The Victorian Government agency responsible for overseeing the delivery of health, housing and sport projects across the state, the Victorian Health and Human Services Building Authority (VHHSBA), is holding an industry forum on 31 May at the Melbourne Convention Centre.
The event is targeted at contractors and consultants in the building and construction industry, the VHHSBA Industry Forum will act as a chance to learn how the Authority works, its infrastructure planning and design priorities, key projects in the pipeline as announced in the Victorian government’s 2018-19 budget, its tender process and requirements, and changes to policy and procedure.
Among the Authority’s completed and upcoming projects are its $185 million Public Housing Renewal Program and the Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre by Silver Thomas Hanley, DesignInc and McBride Charles Ryan, which won both the Victorian Medal and the William Wardell Award for Public Architecture at the 2017 Victorian Architecture Awards.
